Leaders and activists of Left Democratic Alliance on Friday held a march in the Dhaka City to create awareness about dengue among the city dwellers.
The march started from the front of central office of the Communist Party of Bangladesh ended at Malibagh, though Bijoynagar, Shantinagar and handed over leaflets among the people in the wake of increasing number of people in Dhaka and other districts being affected by the mosquito-borne-viral disease.
Led by central leader of United Communist League, Abdus Satter, Socialist Party of Bangladesh central leader Bazlur Rashid Firoj, CPB central leaders Abdullah Kafee Ratan, Joly Talukder, Ganosamhati Andolan central leader Bacchu Bhuiyan and others took part at the programme.
The LDA will hold another march today from Muktangan to Bahadur Shah Park at 4:00pm to this end.
